For sale we have a very rare and highly collectable 18k yellow gold Audemars Piguet Ultra Thin 'Disco Volante' or 'Flying Saucer' model, which is double-signed by Türler. The Türler family-owned company is a renowned Zurich-based retailer, founded in 1883 (Biel, Switzerland), known for their collaborations with Swiss luxury watch brands, especially during the mid 1900’s. This ultra thin model from the 1950’s is in 18k yellow gold with white gold raised hour markers, a beautiful white/ cream Breguet numerals Türler double-signed dial and houses the iconic Audemars Piguet Cal. 2003 manual movement. The watch is in very good overall condition and well preserved in consideration of the vintage period with some gentle signs of normal use to be expected from a period spanning over 70 years since manufacture. Notably, the bezel has some oxidation and the white dial has some very minor general darkening due to the passage of time.

Includes: an unbranded brown leather strap and an unbranded yellow gold plated buckle.
