For sale we have an elegant ladies vintage yellow gold Universal Geneve from the 1960's. The 23mm case size of this timepiece is symbolic of the times when there was a fine line between wearing a watch or wearing jewellery that told the time. The elegant and silky yellow gold integrated Milanese mesh bracelet perfectly compliments the aesthetic. This timepiece is a beautiful example, which was manufactured more than 60 years ago. The bracelet can fit a wrist size of up to 17cm. Despite it's relatively small case size, the watch has an impressive total weight of 52 grams.
Condition report: the watch is in good overall condition. It comes unpolished and very well defined with its original yellow gold proportions. The yellow gold integrated Milanese mesh bracelet is in good overall condition with a single horizontal crease-line on the 6 o'clock section. The case-back features signs of noticeable discoloration/ oxidation due to the passage of time. The jewellery clasp features a very crisp and legible hallmark. The dial is in very good condition. The hands and markers are clean with minimal signs of wear. The crystal demonstrates some minor surface scratches.
