For sale we have an exceptionally rare Piaget 'Bamboo' in 18k yellow gold. This is possibly a unique example. The nickname 'Bamboo' is derived from the intricate detail on the bezel and case resembling a bamboo shoot. This timepiece has a similar design aesthetic to the very highly desirable and collectable Cartier Bamboo reference 78102, which has achieved auction sale prices in excess of $100,000. This timepiece is offered in its original condition to preserve the integrity of this iconic watch. The watch is in good overall condition and displays some minor signs of use consistent with normal gentle wear for a timepiece of this vintage. Naturally, with the passage of time, the bezel, case and dial have some signs of wear. Notably, the white dial has a small discoloration mark around the edge of the 2 o'clock position and a similar less visible mark around the edge of the 4-5 o'clock position. This is a very rare opportunity to own a timepiece of this importance.
