For sale we have a very rare and highly desirable vintage Piaget Dual Time GMT reference 612501 from circa 1978. The elegant 18k yellow gold oval case displays a dual time (two independent Piaget manual wind movements) on both a champagne and a black dial. This versatile timepiece can be worn equally as a daily-wear or for more formal occasions. The watch is in very good overall condition, recently professionally polished and displays some minor signs of use on the bezel, dial and hands, consistent with normal gentle wear for a timepiece of this vintage. The 3 o'clock crown was replaced at some point in its service history.
